Halloween is just around the corner so now is a good time to start planning the games for your Adult Halloween party! Here are 10 games your guests will have a ghoul ole time playing! 👻 Some of these games can also be played at a children’s party or used as a school activity.
Halloween Candy Dice
In this game, give each player 3 candies to start and put about 15 to 20 more pieces in the center. The youngest player goes first, rolling the die, and following the directions on this free printable here. Play continues clockwise, one roll per player per round until someone runs out of candy. Once a player has no candy left, they are out of the game. The last player to have any remaining candy is the winner!
Halloween Scavenger Hunt
Take the guests out for a walk in the neighborhood and see how many of the things they can find on this Halloween scavenger hunt printable! The player with the most circled items is the winner!
This is also a fun game to play with the family while taking a drive out and about around Halloween time. It’s always fun to look at Halloween decorations and a scavenger hunt makes it even more interesting!
This is a fun Halloween party game to play, where your guests will be writing down their best answers to different categories on their Scary-gories sheet. All players are trying to write down unique answers that no one else thinks of and score 1 point for each. After all of the categories have been read through for the letter, the player with the most points wins the round! There are four different games provided in the Scary-gories game here, each with 5 different letters for a total of 20 rounds.
Halloween Fill In The Blank
Have guests fill in the blanks in this Halloween game! The player with the most correct after 3 minutes will be the winner!
What would a party be without a trivia game? Choose from a multiple-choice trivia sheet or fill in the blank version. You are sure to find out some pretty interesting Halloween-related facts with either of these quizzes!
Halloween Word Scramble
Halloween Word Search
Another fun activity to provide to your guests is a word search. You can add this as part of the party favor, or provide it as something to do in between other games.
However, if you want to make it competitive, see who can find all of the words with the fastest time to score a prize! Download a free Halloween word search printable here!
Halloween Villain Quiz
It wouldn’t be Halloween without the plethora of scary movie villains out there! Print out this Halloween villain quiz to test your party guests’ knowledge of famous foes featured in Halloween flicks. The person with the most correct wins!
Halloween A to Z Challenge
In this next game, print out a free answer sheet for each of your guests. Then have them write a Halloween-related word next to each letter of the alphabet. Whoever has the most after 5 minutes is the winner!
Last but not least is one of my favorite games to play – the Feud! Print out a game sheet for each guest or team from this Halloween-themed feud game. Then have all guests/teams fill in their best guess as to what the top three survey answers are for each question. The order does not matter, so the players will still score points regardless if their answers are in the correct sequence.
Once all guests/teams have completed their sheet, the host will read the answers along with the point value for each. The number 1 answer is worth the most for 3 points, the second and third answers are worth 2 points and 1 point respectively. The guest/team with the most points at the end wins the game! There are 2 different games provided in this Halloween Feud edition here.
And that’s a full night of fun games to plan for your Halloween party! If interested in all of these games, you can purchase a party pack bundle in our Etsy shop here. Even if you only use one or two, I hope that these suggestions have been helpful in getting your party planning started. Have a wonderful Halloween!
