And if you are planning one this year, make your celebration even more exciting by trying some of our games to play. Below are 17 printable St. Patrick’s Day games perfect for any party requiring green attire!
A To Z Challenge (FREE Printable St. Patrick’s Day game!)
First, start off your party with an A to Z Challenge. Set a timer for 5 minutes. On your go, have everyone write down something green next to each letter of the alphabet. Once time is up, go over everyone’s answers and be sure they are valid. Then all players count up their points and the person with the most wins!
St. Patrick’s Day True or False Trivia
The next game up is a St. Patrick’s Day true or false trivia quiz. Hand out a sheet to all players. Set a timer for 5 minutes. Have everyone go through the statements and circle T if they think it is true and F if they think it is false. When time is up, review the answers. Whoever has the most correct wins!
Finish My Phrase
The third game you could play at your party is Finish My Phrase. As host, print yourself a sheet and fill in the blanks, completing each word by making a phrase. Your sheet will be the answer key. All other players get the same sheet. Set a timer for 5 minutes and on your go, everyone writes their answers trying to guess what you wrote down. When time is up, reveal your answers, with players marking the words they match exactly. The person with the most overall wins the game.
Color Me Green
Since we are feeling green with fun, how about playing this next game! Color Me Green is a relatively easy game to play. So for this one you are looking to find the person that can answer all of the clues in the fastest time. Hand out a sheet to all players face down. On your go, everyone will turn their paper over and quickly go through the list of green items. They want to match up the clues to the correct green object. When someone finishes first, have everyone turn their papers over and check the first person’s answers. If they are all right, they win! If not, have everyone turn their papers back over and keep going until someone gets them all right.
Word Search
The fifth is another race until you finish the game. This one is a themed word search. Have all players search for the words in the puzzle and the person to find them all the quickest is the winner.
What’s Your Leprechaun Name? (free printable!)
The sixth game is an easy-going, fun, and light activity. There are no winners in this game. Simply print out the What’s Your Leprechaun Name sheet and pass it around the table. Everyone finds their leprechaun name and announces it out loud. Lots of goofy combinations that are sure to get some chuckles. You could even buy Hello My Name is tags and have everyone write down their leprechaun name for the party.
Lifestyles of the Rich and Irish
In this next game, set a timer for 5 minutes. Hand out the Lifestyles of the Rich and Irish sheet to every player. Then start the timer and all players will read through the descriptions trying to match them up with the famous Irish person they fit. After the time is up, review the answers with the group. The person that gets the most correct is the winner.
What’s On Your Phone?
The eighth game is What’s On Your Phone? This one is always fun to do! Pass out a sheet to all players. Everyone will read through the list and give themselves points for each respective thing they have on their phone. The person with the most overall points wins!

Memory Match
Memory Match is a classic game for kids! First, print out the PDF file and cut each square. You might be able to see the shapes through the paper, so it is best to glue them to black construction paper. You can even laminate if planning to use them over again. Next, mix up all of the pieces and place them face down in a 6 x 4 grid. The first player picks up 2 cards and if they match, they keep them and go again. If they do not match, they turn the cards back over and the next player goes. Keep taking turns until no more cards are left. The person with the most matches at the end of the game wins!

Penny Lane Board Game
For this game, it is best to print it out in landscape. Each player gets a penny as their game marker. To start, the first player rolls a die and moves their penny marker that many spaces. Play continues clockwise around the board. If a player lands on a “skip” space, they skip their next turn. If they land on the #20 golden star, they move an additional five spaces. If they land on #23, they move ahead to #30, land on #40 they move ahead to #45 and if they land on #50 they have to move back to #46 (see arrows to know where to move). The first person to get their penny to #70 and into the leprechaun’s pot of gold is the winner!
Take A Drink Dice Game
The last two games were saved for the end as they are drinking games for adult parties. The first is a dice game called Take A Drink. Each player starts out with 6 mini shot glasses filled with beer. Players take turns rolling the die and following the directions on the sheet. When someone runs out of beer, they are out of the game. The last person to have beer remaining in any of their cups is the winner!
Take A Drink If
The final game is called Take A Drink If. Print out the Take A Drink If sheet and have one person read through the rounds. All players listen for the sentences listed in each of the rounds and for those that apply they take a drink. There are no winners in this game but it is a fun way to end a splendid party!
