We all have friends from different sections of our lives. Friends from school, friends from work, family, etc. A bridal shower brings all of these different types of people from each of the various parts of our background together. Games at a bridal shower bring everyone together to accomplish the same goal. They can make the event more memorable and fun for everyone too. Here are 5 unique bridal shower games to play at your next planned gathering.

Toilet Paper Truths

One effective game to start with is the Toilet Paper Truth Game. First, have a new roll of toilet paper ready and make sure everyone is sitting in a circle. Give the toilet roll to the first person and tell them to pass it around, taking as much of the roll as they like. Each person will take anything from one square to many, not knowing what will happen. Once each person has pulled off their squares, explain that for every square they pulled off, they must now tell one true fact about themselves to the group. Once again go around the circle, each taking in turns to tell truths.

The great aspect of this game is that it will allow your guests to learn something about one another, and they may even find something they have in common. You might even learn something you never knew about someone too!

Bridal Celebrity Heads

Like the traditional celebrity heads game, make some headbands with slots in them for cardboard name tags. Prior to the party, put the name of a famous bride on different slips of cardboard or paper.

The brides can be fictional or real life, such as Muriel from Muriel’s Wedding, Cinderella, or real-life celebrities with well-known weddings. A name is randomly selected and placed on someone’s head without them seeing it. They can then ask questions to guess the famous bride.

There can be 3 or 4 players at once, with the rest answering questions. Questions can be anything as long as they can be answered with yes or no. The game continues until someone guesses their famous bride.

Pass the Parcel

Another fun game for all ages is Pass the Parcel. Yes, it’s an oldie, but a goodie. For a bridal shower, instead of the typical kiddie gifts of candy and novelty toys, wrap up the type of things your guests would get a laugh out of.

This can range from amusing trinkets, pampering items, or for lots of fun, adult novelties. Ideal adult novelties are anything from condoms, to edible undies, lubricants, etc. This will definitely throw out any shyness your guests had left in them. Teamed with a bottle of wine, you’ll be having the time of your lives in no time.

Toilet Paper Wedding Dress

Yet another fun game to play at a bridal shower is the Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Game. First, be sure to have 4 to 6 rolls of toilet paper for each team or table. Divide guests into teams of 4 to 6 people or assign each table as a team. Have each team pick a model bride they will wrap up in toilet paper. Give each team 4 to 6 rolls of toilet paper and set a timer for 20 minutes.

On your go, teams will start dressing the “bride” in their best toilet paper design. They can make the dress sleeveless or with sleeves, long or short, with a veil or not. When time is up have a mini fashion show displaying all of the fun dresses. Then have the actual bride pick her favorite as the winner. Don’t forget to take lots of photos!

Wedding Night Tell-All

Here’s a somewhat naughty one best reserved for the younger crowd, called Wedding Night Tell-All. As the bride is unwrapping her gifts have someone secretly write down her reactions. This can be done under the guise of recording the gifts for the thank-you cards. At the end of the gift opening have the person read back the expressions uttered by the bride such as “oh, isn’t that lovely?” “This will come in handy!” “I’ve never seen one of those before!” This is what the bride will say on her wedding night.

These are just a few suggestions for livening up any bridal shower with unique games. Make them as innocent or naughty as you like and be sure to have heaps of fun!
