Easter stuff has been in Dollar Tree stores for weeks now. There are a lot of different items, many of which you can use to play creative games! If you are already thinking of your party or gathering coming up, check out these fun Easter games to play using Dollar Tree supplies. These games are not only easy to set up but they won’t break your budget either!
Carrot Toss
Supplies:
4 Orange Mini Safety Cones (they come 2 in a pack)
Green Basket Filler
Glue Gun with Glue
3 Packages of Glow Sticks with connectors, 8 ct. packs

Setup:
Glue the basket filler to the tops of the cones to make it look like the green stems of a carrot. Snap and bend the glow sticks into round circles, using 2 glow sticks and 2 connectors to make a ring. Do this with all of the glow sticks until you have 12 rings.

To Play:
Put the carrot cones in a vertical row. The first player will stand back at a pre-determined distance, like 3 feet from the first carrot. Using the 12 rings they will throw them one at a time to try and get them around the carrot cones. If they get a ring around the closest carrot, score 1 point, the second closest carrot 2 points, the third 3 points, and the furthest carrot being 4 points. Once all players have had a turn, the person with the highest amount of points wins.
Bunny Tails
Supplies:
Bag of Cotton Balls
2 Bowls
Plastic Spoons, one for each player
Timer
Setup:
Fill one bowl with a mound of cotton balls and leave the other bowl empty. Set a timer for 1 minute.
To Play:
On your go, the first player will put a plastic spoon in their mouth and start scooping out the “bunny tails” (cotton balls) moving them from the first bowl to the empty bowl. After 1 minute is up, count how many cotton balls were moved into the second bowl. That is their score. Reset the timer, move the cotton balls to one bowl and it is now the next player’s turn. After all guests have had a turn, the player with the most points wins!
Memory Match
Supplies:
1 Dozen Plastic Eggs
Small items that fit underneath half an egg, like paper clips, pennies, erasers, buttons, etc.
Setup:
Use the egg halves to hide pairs of items such as coins, beads, paper clips, or buttons. Try not to use the same color egg for the matching pair. Line eggs in 6 columns across and 4 rows down.
To Play:
Start the timer. Then the first player will uncover 2 egg halves. If they match, they take the items. If they do not, they must re-cover the objects. They then take 2 more halves and see if they make a pair. The player keeps playing until they have matched all 12 pairs of items. Stop the timer as soon as they finish and record the time. Mix up the items for the next player without them looking. Reset the timer and it is now the next player’s turn. When everyone has had a chance to play, declare the person with the quickest time the winner!
Pin The Cotton Tail On The Bunny
Supplies:
Picture of a bunny to pin the tail on (get a FREE printable here if you need one!)
Cotton Balls, at least one per player
Glue Dots
Blindfold (you can find sleeping eye covers in the bath aisle at Dollar Tree)

Setup:
Stick one or two glue dots on each cotton ball. Tape the photo of the bunny up on a wall near a wide-open space.
To Play:
Have the first player put on the blindfold. Spin them around a few times and then stop them. Instruct them to go put the tail on the bunny. Continue this until everyone has had a chance to play. The person to get the tail the closest to or on the bunny’s butt is the winner!
Guess How Many Jelly Beans
Supplies:
Clear Jar with lid
Bag of Jelly Beans
Slips of paper for players to write their guesses on (grab a FREE printable here!)
Setup:
Fill the jar with a certain number of jelly beans – be sure to count them out as you will need to know the exact amount as the answer for this game. Cut out slips of paper (use the FREE printable here) and put them next to the jar.
To Play:
This game is great to play as an ice breaker or to kick off the party. Have each guest write down their name and guess on a slip of paper. They can put their answers in a container or hand them to the host for collecting. Once everyone has made a guess, announce how many were actually in the jar and review all of the answers. The person to guess the closest without going over is the winner!
Bean Balance
Supplies:
Bowl of Jelly Beans
Popsicle Stick for each player
To Play:
The first player will start by putting a popsicle stick in their mouth. On your go, they will take one jelly bean at a time and gently place it on the popsicle stick. They are trying to balance it and when they do count 1. Then they will grab a second jelly bean and put it on the popsicle stick. Once balanced count 2. Keep going until a jelly bean falls off. Whatever number you counted up to before the jelly bean(s) fell is what the player’s score is. The next player does the same thing. Once everyone has had a turn, the player with the most points wins.
Egg Match
Supplies:
4 packs of plastic eggs, 12 ct. each
Large Container
Timer
Setup:
Break apart all plastic eggs and mix the halves in a large container. Set a timer for one minute.
To Play:
On your go, start the timer and the first player will race to put as many of the eggs back together again, making a color match (mismatched eggs don’t count for points!). After one minute is up, count how many eggs they were able to assemble. That is their score. Break apart the eggs again and mix the halves for the next player. The person to get the most points wins the game.
Golden Ticket
Supplies:
Plastic Eggs – at least one per player
Post It Notes
Sharpie
Setup:
Using a Sharpie write the word “Golden Ticket” on a Post It Note and “Rotten Egg” on a Post It for each remaining egg. So if you have 12 eggs, 1 will have a golden ticket inside and the other 11 will say rotten egg. Fold the Post It Notes and add one to the inside of each plastic egg. Mix the eggs in a basket or large container.
To Play:
Each player will pick out one egg and open it to see what they selected. The one with the golden ticket will be the winner of a prize!
Don’t Crack The Eggs
Supplies:
2 packages of Plastic Eggs, 12 ct.
3 packages of Bunny Erasers, 8 ct.
Large Plastic Bucket or Laundry Basket
Setup:
Put one bunny eraser inside each plastic egg. Set out a bucket or laundry basket.
To Play:
Have the first player stand back 6 feet from the bucket or laundry basket. Give them all 24 eggs to toss into the bucket, one at a time. They are trying to toss the eggs into the bucket and not break them open. Once the player has thrown all 24 eggs, count up how many they made into the bucket without breaking. Any eggs that broke or that did not make it into the basket do not count for points. The person with the most amount of points wins the game.
Hershey Kiss Egg Hunt
Supplies:
2 Bags of Hershey Kisses (they have cool tie-dye kisses at Dollar Tree!)
Print out labels (grab the free printable here)
Glue Dots
Scissors

Setup:
Print and cut out the round labels found in this free printable here. Using a glue dot stick the labels onto the bottom of Hershey kisses, one per chocolate. Mix up the kisses and lay them out in 4 rows of 6 in each.
To Play:
The first player picks out a Hershey kiss and looks underneath. If it is a flower or egg, they can pick another kiss to look at. They continue picking out kisses as long as they don’t uncover the Easter basket. Once the basket is revealed, count up how many eggs you uncovered, scoring one point for each. Flowers are worth zero points. Then mix up and arrange the kisses for the next player. After everyone has had a chance to play, the person with the most points wins!
Egg Pairs
Supplies:
Easter Bucket or Basket
A bag full of different colored wrapped chocolate eggs
Basket Filler
Setup:
Place the basket filler in the bucket. Empty foil-wrapped eggs into basket filler and mix around.
To Play:
Without looking, the first player will pick out 20 foil-wrapped eggs, matching up the pairs of eggs that are the same color. You can only use each egg once, so if it is paired up you can’t use it with another egg of the same color. Score one point for every matching pair. After everyone has had a turn to play this game, the person with the most points wins!
Similar to this game you could fill plastic eggs with pairs of items and have to pick out 20 eggs, open them, and match up the pairs you make. You will need a lot of plastic eggs filled with a variety of items that make up pairs.
Organize Your Beans
Supplies:
Bowl
Bag of Jelly Beans
4 to 5 Small Plastic or Paper Cups
Timer
Setup:
Put a bag of jelly beans into a bowl. Set a timer for one minute.
To Play:
On your go, start the timer and the first player will go through the jelly beans, designating each color to go into its own cup. The goal is to get as many jelly beans sorted within one minute. After the time is up, count how many jelly beans they were able to sort and that is their score. The person with the highest score after everyone has had a chance to play is the winner.
Egg Bounce
Supplies:
Balloons
Timer
Stickers, markers, Sharpies (optional)
Setup:
Blow the balloons up and tie them off. You can have party guests decorate 3 balloons each using Sharpies, markers, and stickers to make them into decorated “eggs”.
To Play:
On your go, start the timer and the first player will hit 3 balloons up into the air trying to keep them airborne for however long they can. For younger children, you might want to give them just 1 or 2 balloons to bounce into the air. Once a balloon falls to the ground, stop the timer. Whichever player has the highest time after everyone has had a chance to play is the winner.
Jelly Bean Shake
Supplies:
2 empty and dry water bottles, 16 oz. size
A bag of Jelly Beans
Strong Tape
Timer
Setup:
Empty jelly beans into one of the bottles, then tape the end of the bottles together using a strong adhesive.
To Play:
On your go, start the timer and have the first player shake all of the jelly beans into the empty bottle. Once all of the beans are in the second bottle, stop the timer. That is the player’s time. Now it is the next player’s turn so reset the timer. Once all guests have had a chance to play, the person with the lowest/quickest time is the winner.
Bunny Line Up
Supplies:
Fabric Bunny Bags, 4 ct.
2 to 3 bags of jelly beans
Timer

Setup:
Count out this many jelly beans and put them in each of the bunny bags, labeling them as you go.
#1 – 50 jelly beans
#2 – 70 jelly beans
#3 – 40 jelly beans
#4 – 60 jelly beans
Seal the bags off.
To Play:
Note, do not play this game in front of other players or they will find out the answer before their turn. Start the timer and then the first player must organize the bags in the order of least jelly beans to greatest. If using the above numbers the correct order will be #3, #1, #4, and #2. Stop the timer once they have figured out the correct order. Mix up the bags for the next player and reset the timer. Whoever has the lowest/quickest time is the winner.
