Well, it appears this game is hard to come by now. So you might have trouble finding it (I’d suggest buying it used on eBay – definitely don’t pay $100+!!!).
Anyhow, this game was voted a “Best Party Game of the Year” by Games magazine. There are 500 cards, each with five VERY obscure and long-forgotten sayings from around the world (you’ll be saying “REALLY?!” a lot). The reader will tell all players only part of the proverb. For example, an old Chinese saying goes “Don’t add salt to…” It is then up to the players to write down what they think sounds like a convincing end to that saying. It doesn’t matter if you are right or not. It matters how much you can come up with a really authentic-sounding adage. Get the most votes for your special ending and you’ll be moving ahead on the board. It’s very interesting, creative, clever, and all-around hilarious. By the way, the real Chinese saying mentioned above reads “Don’t add salt to a boatload of salt fish.” REALLY?!
